Can't Be There

Give from
wherever
you are.

If October 23 doesn't work, your gift still puts a child in a real home on the worst night of their life. A gift made here reserves no seat and no event benefits, and Isaiah 117 House will issue your receipt.

About $300 covers one child's stay at an Isaiah 117 House: a favorite meal, a warm shower, new clothes and shoes, and a new bag to carry it all. Gifts are processed directly by Isaiah 117 House. You may also give by check, payable to Isaiah 117 House with “Begin Again” in the memo.

Where It Goes

Isaiah 117
House.

When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their safety, they usually wait in a child welfare office. A few hours, sometimes several days, often with nothing but the clothes they're wearing. Isaiah 117 House gives them a home for that wait instead.

An Isaiah 117 House
An Isaiah 117 House

Isaiah 117 House provides a comforting home where those children can wait instead. A place that is safe, with volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets, while child welfare staff do the paperwork and find a good placement.

It began in Tennessee in 2018. It now runs 39 open homes across 13 states, with 66 more in development. The model works, and it is spreading.

Your seat and your gift support the Isaiah 117 House serving Nashville and Davidson County. These are children from our own city, on the hardest day they have had.

Reduce Trauma

For children waiting for placement on the hardest day of their lives.

Lighten the Load

For the child welfare workers finding them a home.

Ease the Transition

For the foster families opening their doors, often with no notice.
